PA is the weirdest state in the nation after California, due to the variety of people and places. In the southeast they have hyper-urban Philly with old historical buildings, and terrible streets. Then you have Buck's county along the Delaware River and the Philly suburbs, where the wealthy corporate workers live in suburbia excess. In the NE part, you have dilapidated working class towns like Allentown. Moving west you have nothing but mountains and trees extending hundreds of miles, north and south. You reach Penn State, the absolute Mecca of PA culture and life. Pittsburg is full of more hard core Midwesterners than east coasters.
